Below is a small section of an extensive dialogue with Byron Katie which appears in our book "Dialogues With Emerging Spiritual Teachers."

Q. What is reality or truth and how do you find it best conveyed and realized by others?

A.  Truth is what each person perceives it to be.  And inquiry can give them how to realize what it really is.  Reality for me?  It is what it is and I am a lover of reality.  I am a lover of "what is."  It's too good to miss.  So again sitting here with you and Christie and Diane, that's everything, that's real, all I can see. Whether I like it or not has nothing to do with it.  It's still everything.  So when I can see that, it's over.  Not only do I like it; it's everything revealed.  We could say it's the total accumulation of a lifetime, everything, every breath for this "Now," and am I going to throw it away by attaching to a concept of a past or future?  This is reality.  So reality.....I hear teachers say, or people who say teachers say....reality....they hold it in a lofty sense, like a spiritual sense.  What "I Am" is so prior to that; it can't be spoken.  I'm not going to attempt to expose myself for what I truly am. I am already revealed.  I love "what is."  It's my Self.  I'm swimming in my Self.  And it's a love affair.  I'm full.  I'm all of it.  Everything.
